I saw this deal being offered in various places and decided to do a little research to see what made these Starbucks Refreshers so different from anything else they offer… Here’s what I found -
For their Refreshers beverages Starbucks has started a fresh “green” process that pulls the naturally occurring caffeine and other good stuff from 100% green arabica coffee beans before they are roasted. Resulting in Green Coffee Extract – the natural energy from coffee, with none of the coffee flavor. Which means it can be added to a bunch of things that “coffee” wouldn’t have mixed well with…
I must say I am quite intrigued with this “new coffee” – I even went to see what others where saying about it and these were a few of my favorites:
“I come to Starbucks for the Teas and non-Coffee drinks and when you came out with those refreshers… I loved it!”
“OK I am addicted. I love the Trente size Cool Lime Refresher with just a splash of Coconut or Mint. I would stop almost daily. “
