Since all of the products are from Amazon, they are eligible for free Super Saver shipping with $25 purchases. Amazon also does a great job of suggesting similar items if the ones below aren’t exactly what you’re looking for.

  • Axiom Adirondack Handlebar Bag: $18.99
I hate going for a bike ride and having nowhere to put my phone, wallet, or other personal effects (sunscreen, Chapstick, towel or whatever).  This has a carrying strap so you can take it when you get off the bike.
  • Polar Insulated Water Bottle: $8.30 and up

I really like this water bottle for hot yoga, bike rides or volleyball games. Since it’s insulated, the outside of the bottle doesn’t sweat and the water stays cooler, especially with ice. It’s BPA-free, too, so no worries there.
  • ProSource Premium 1/2-Inch Extra Thick 71-Inch Long High Density Exercise Yoga Mat with Comfort Foam and Carrying Case: $19.99

Mats are greats for stretching, sit-ups and other activities in addition to yoga — and an extra long one is perfect for taller people (I’m 5-foot-6 and would prefer a longer one). You can never have too many yoga mats because they eventually wear out. I keep one at work, one in my car and one at home so I don’t have to lug them back and forth all the time. They are also good for putting under a sleeping bag for camping or under a blanket during picnics for a little extra cushion and moisture protection.
  • Gaiam Yoga Mat Wash: $5.99. This would be a great add-on gift or stocking stuffer. It’s not a necessity, but mats can get pretty icky.
  • Black High Density Foam Rollers, Extra Firm: $9.70 to $22

Foam rollers are perfect for runners or for massaging sore muscles — it hurts so good and helps with healing. I recommend the 36-inch full round ($22) because it’s the easiest to use for all body parts.
  • Brine Lacrosse Balls, Pack of 3: $11.99

Crossfit is HUGE now and Lacrosse Balls are often used in classes for muscle release and massage. If you know a crossfitter, they’ll appreciate these for home use.
  • Valeo Speed Jump Rope: $6.53

A jump rope is such a basic workout implement, but one of the best and quickest workouts that you can do anywhere (well, anywhere with high enough ceilings).
  • CW-X Conditioning Wear Compression Support Running Sock: $22 for gray (see comments for sizing)

Compression socks aren’t just for people with leg vein issues anymore.  Athletes (especially runners and crossfitters) use them for support during activity and recovery afterwards. Plus, they’re great for reducing swelling and reducing the risk for DVT during long flights.

Or for iPhone 5:

  • Tuneband for iPhone 5, Grantwood Technology’s Armband, Silicone Skin, and Front Screen Protector, Black: $22.99

Waterproof headphones would need to be purchased separately to use headphones while in water, but if you aren’t going to get the headphones wet while wearing it, regular headphones will work fine. I plan to use it at the beach and pool so I can still take pictures and use the phone without worrying about sand or water ruining it. I’ve had this armband for three or four years and through two different generations of iPhones and I absolutely love it. You can remove the strap and use the rubber case on the iPhone separately. The strap will fit most adult arms (it works well for me and my husband with room to adjust either way). I wear it to the gym five days a week and for other activities as well, and it’s always felt perfectly secure. It also comes with screen protectors (which everyone should have on their phones).
  • Waterproof Dry Bags: various prices

The link above goes to a page with various dry packs. I don’t want to recommend a specific bag since different sizes fit different items (phones, clothes, papers and passports, mp3 players, etc).  These bags are great to protect belongings during water sports, hiking or other outdoor activities when you can’t control the weather. I put the iPhone-size bag (below) on my wish list ($19.99). It has a headphone jack so you can listen to music while your phone is in the bag.
